Rick FlorJancic

Rick FlorJancic is Managing Director and Head of Regional Investment Banking at BMO. Based in Chicago, Rick and his team partner with colleagues to deliver investment banking coverage and solutions to BMO’s Commercial Bank clients across North America. He brings over 24 years of investment banking experience in advising senior management teams, boards of directors and private owners on various strategic M&A transactions and structuring a broad spectrum of public and private financings in the debt and equity capital markets. During his career, he has executed transactions for clients across a number of industry sectors including consumer and retail, diversified industrials, healthcare, financial institutions, real estate and technology.

Prior to joining BMO in 2022, Rick spent 20 years in a variety of senior banking roles at J.P. Morgan, including Head of Midwest Regional Investment Banking, and over 15 years in the Investment Banking industry coverage and M&A groups. Most recently, Rick led Central U.S. Investment Banking for Wells Fargo, which included coverage of 20 states and 65 wholesale banking offices across the Midwest, South and Mountain regions.

Rick earned an M.B.A. from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University and a B.S. in Finance and Marketing from the University of Colorado at Boulder.
