Penn Egbert

Penn joined BMO Capital Markets as Managing Director, US Director of Research in March 2022, and is based in New York. Penn has 22 years of capital markets experience that includes roles in sales, product management, and research management. Most recently Penn was a Managing Director and Co- Director of Americas Equity Research at Goldman Sachs in New York. He served on the Americas Investment Review Committee and on the Global Research Operating Committee. Penn previously served as a Managing Director and Head of Global Markets Research, Americas for Nomura Securities International in New York. He was a Member of the Nomura Global Markets Americas Executive Committee as well as the Instinet LLC Global Executive Committee. Prior to joining Nomura, Penn was Head of Equity Product Management for the Americas at Barclays and Lehman Brothers in New York. He began his career at Paine Webber and UBS also in New York. Penn serves on the Board of Directors and the Executive Committee of the Parkinson’s Foundation and on the Alumni Executive Council of St. Lawrence University. Penn earned a BA from St. Lawrence University.
