Catherine Staveley

Catherine joined BMO in 2012 and has over 20 years of capital markets experience. She has an extensive global background in credit trading, structuring and sales. 

As the Managing Director & Head of Environmental Commodities Sales & Structuring, Catherine and her team focus on carbon advisory and carbon credit development, along with product development and offset strategies to provide solutions for companies towards their decarbonization goals.  

Prior to this, she was the Head of Fixed Income Sales and Structuring in the Cross Asset Solutions group, which involved developing derivative strategies and innovative structures for pensions, investment funds and insurance companies. She also spent 8 years in London trading and structuring credit derivatives at UBS.  

Catherine holds an MSc. in International Finance from the Henley Business School at the University of Reading, a BBA from Bishop’s University and is a CFA charter holder.
