At BMO, the nature of our client base drives our strategic decision making, and each year we look to innovate and improve our annual Global Metals & Mining conference. This year, after several years of increasing critical minerals content to reflect the energy transition objectives of governments, communities, and companies around the world, we have formally rebranded the conference to the BMO Capital Markets Global Metals, Mining & Critical Minerals Conference.
This is a forum for the world’s largest and best producers, developers, and explorers, as well as investors and influencers, and this year we’ll welcome significant attendance from leaders of end-user companies, like major automakers that are keen to secure supplies of the feedstock minerals needed for electrification.
Critical minerals panels will explore the parameters of this evolving opportunity and discuss the global race to supply these minerals sustainably, with a lunch breakout on the E, S & G of mining. We’ll also look at how voluntary carbon markets are evolving, and our keynote panel will see veteran mining executives reflect on how the world has changed under their purvey and what is coming around the corner.
As always, we look forward to connecting with our clients to discuss trends for the industry and the collective way forward.
