Grant Thompson is a seasoned private capital professional having worked at a variety of organizations. As Head of Alternative Capital Solutions at UBS for the past 3 years and as head of Long Time Horizon Investor Coverage & Client Strategy at Wells Fargo for the 6 prior years, he has been instrumental in connecting opportunities across Wealth, Capital Markets, private companies and sources of private capital (pension funds, insurance companies, SWF, home offices, UHNW etc.). Grant brings a wealth of experience, connectivity and best practices. In addition to his experience in private capital, Grant ran prime brokerage in the UK at UBS, was Co-CEO at CQS and ran hedge fund coverage and PB sales at Barclays in New York. Grant’s longstanding and deep relationships across a variety of clients will bring new opportunities and ideas to the BMO platform. While Grant will be based in New York, his network of relationships is global.
