Greg Petit

Greg is a Managing Director and Group Head of BMO Capital Markets’ Power Utilities & Infrastructure investment banking team in Canada.

He joined the firm in 2006 and has extensive experience advising a wide range of clients across North America on mergers, acquisitions and divestitures as well as equity and debt financings.  Greg actively covers corporate, government and sponsor clients in subsectors including renewable power, conventional power, regulated utilities and infrastructure. 

He is also a member of the investment committee for BMO’s Impact Investment Fund, focused on finding and scaling solutions to sustainability issues faced by clients.  

Prior to joining BMO Capital Markets he worked at an international financial advisory firm.  Greg is a CFA charterholder and also holds the Chartered Professional Accountant designation.
